🕊️A Message of Condolence and Solidarity

Dear Valued Clients, Students, Families, and Friends,

On behalf of everyone at the Ansob Center for Refugees, we write with profound sadness and heavy hearts following the devastating natural disaster affecting communities across Tibet and Nepal. 💔

Our hearts are with everyone who has lost family members, relatives, friends, homes, livelihoods, and their sense of safety and security. We extend our deepest condolences to every family mourning the loss of a loved one, and we keep in our thoughts those who remain missing, displaced, or separated from their families.

❤️This Tragedy Hits Close to Home

For many of us at Ansob Center, this tragedy feels especially close to home.

Tibet and Nepal are not simply places on a map. They are home to our clients, students, families, friends, and communities whose strength, courage, and resilience we have had the privilege of witnessing.

Behind every news report is a human story—a mother, father, child, sibling, friend, or community member whom someone here may be desperately trying to reach. We understand that these moments of uncertainty can be incredibly painful.

🤝You are Not Alone

We recognize that many of you may be experiencing fear, grief, helplessness, and uncertainty as you wait for news from loved ones.

Some may be grieving a loss while also trying to manage work, school, family responsibilities, and everyday life. Please know that whatever you are feeling is understandable. You do not have to face this difficult time alone. ❤️

As the Ansob Center for Refugees, we stand firmly in solidarity with our Tibetan and Nepali communities. Our organization was built on the belief that every person deserves dignity, compassion, safety, and a community that stands beside them during the most difficult moments of their lives.

Today, we reaffirm that commitment.❤️

🙏 Gratitude to Those Helping on the Ground

We extend our deepest respect and gratitude to the families, local communities, first responders, rescue workers, volunteers, and humanitarian organizations working tirelessly to save lives and support those affected.

Their courage, compassion, and dedication remind us of the extraordinary strength that emerges when communities come together in times of crisis. ❤️🙏

❤️To Our Ansob Family

To our clients and students who have family and loved ones in the affected areas:

We are thinking of you. We are grieving with you. And we are standing with you.

Please know that you are not alone during this difficult time. We are holding you, your families, and your communities in our hearts.🕊️🕊️

🌿A Hope for Healing and Recovery

During this painful time, may those who have lost loved ones find comfort and strength.🕯️

May those who are missing be found safely.

May families separated by this disaster be reunited.

May those who are injured receive the care they need.

And may the communities of Tibet and Nepal receive the support, care, and solidarity they need to heal, recover, and rebuild.🙏

From all of us at the Ansob Center for Refugees, please accept our deepest condolences and heartfelt solidarity.

You are part of the Ansob family, and we stand with you. ❤️🤝

With deepest sympathy, compassion, and solidarity,

Iman Mehelba /Executive Director and DOJ Representative
